What's in my bag?

I am incredibly fond of "what's in my bag" posts. I have to admit that I am a massive fan of looking at what other people have in their bags, so I finally decided that I had to make my own. My bag contents have changed greatly since my days at school so now instead of carrying around massive history or math books, I've replaced it with the essentials of my every day life. I do change bags a lot, so at the moment I am lugging around a burgundy Pieces bag that I received for my birthday. It is absolutely perfect for me because I always manage to lose things inside of my bag and this bag has so many pockets that my losing of things has decreased. I used to use tote bags and well to find anything in there was almost impossible.

Bus card & Driving tickets: Since my move from the center of town, a bus card was definitely needed. Our bus cards have been named "Jojo" for a reason that I do not know. And since I'm in the process of getting my drivers license, I am taking lessons which require these little coupons to keep track of how many lessons I've been taking.

Wallet: This lovely burgundy find was bought at a second hand store for 5 krs (which is under 1 dollar). Inside it says its a Puccini, and I've never heard of the brand before but it is certainly a nifty wallet.

Mini clutch: This blue, beaten up looking little purse I got years ago from Accessorize and I've always stored my first aid stuff in there. Someone always needs a band aid or a pain killer and this little purse always comes to the rescue.

Earphones & rings: I am a music fanatic, I can't walk 5 minutes alone without putting in my head phones and listening to music. One of my greatest fears is to one day forget them and be forced to take the bus in silence. As for my rings, I carry them everywhere and wear them most of the time. Just become a bit of a habit. One is a sort of voodoo man that I bought at a flee market in Rome and the other is just a simple circular ring that I bought at a festival in my town.

Clutch: This clutch stores pretty much everything that is loose in my bag. I have to clean it out every so often because it can get pretty overloaded with receipts.

Iphone: I won't lie and say I'm not attached to my iPhone because I really am but it is mostly for the music aspect of it. And it is perfect for quick photo taking and of course, pinterest.

Keys: Well just one key, to my house. I used to have a massive key chain with keys from unknown sources so I thought it best to just have the one key I use. Along with a mint green loopy key chain and a mini flashlight for finding that key hole when the outside lights haven't been switched on.

Good Read: 100 Mistakes That Changed History by Bill Fawcett. I love History and pretty much all eras and centuries and this book manages to highlight and touch upon almost each era. It is a simple read and incredibly interesting, also perfect for the bus ride home.

Lip balm / Lipstick: Winter in Sweden can get freezing, it is already starting to happen and once it gets cold, the easier chapped lips appear. So I trust my carmex lip balm for healing (it is perfect!) and my cotton candy lip smacker which is pretty much only there because it smells so scrumptious. I also carry my favorite lipstick with me which is a Spanish brand Kiko

Nail file: My essie nail file that is there when out of the blue you break a nail. I really don't use it very often but it brings comfort to me that someday when I am in dire of it, it will be there.

So there it is, the contents of my bag, hope you enjoyed!

Lisa Loves: Coats

Untitled #9

Udobuy Hood Warm Long Trench Coat (buy here) | Vince Wool Drape Hooded Coat (buy here) | Unbranded Military Green Leather Sleeve Jacket (buy here) | Topshop Short Hooded Swing Coat (buy here) | Bernard Lafond Warm Hooded Zipper Coat (buy here) |

So now that autumn is here and certainly not long until winter will be here, I decided to take a wander around the web to see if I could find some lovely new coats for the season. Above you will find some coats that happened to catch my eye and I'm especially in love with the Bernard Lafond one, a perfect combination of denim and wool. My outwear closet is filled mostly with black so I desperately tried finding some outwear that would add some color to the closet. Although I am not able to buy any of these coats, it is sure fun to take a look. The coat I'll be keeping myself warm with this autumn and winter is my trusty old leather jacket and my black and white boyfriend coat. Right now I'm trying not to part with my leather jacket but as I realized today, it is getting colder faster and that jacket just won't do. As much as I love winter, I do feel that it is coming a wee bit too fast at the moment but won't complain, time to bring out the knitted scarves and the snow resilient boots! Also I can't forget to mention that Halloween is just around the corner and even though Halloween isn't celebrated at all where I live, it doesn't stop me from contemplating costume ideas and carving pumpkins. Hope October has been a pleasant and not too cold month for all of you. And hopefully when the weather does change and bring cold, you have got a stylish and warm coat to go along with it!

One year older

First of all I'd like to apologize for my lack of posting, there have been some personal issues but I'm back and I will certainly try to get back into constant posting. Second of all, today was my birthday. My eighteenth birthday to be exact. Which means I am now a legal adult, responsible for myself. And boy, I got to tell you I am super excited about it. Today has been a lovely day, woke up and was treated with some lemon meringue cake. Then proceeded to watch a favorite mini series of mine Mistrals Daughter, followed by a relaxing bath. I was then taken to dinner and my first legal drink which was a hoot and a half. A cosmopolitan, because being the huge SATC fan that I am, I guess I just had to try it. And it was scrumptious. I am so grateful for how kind my family and friends were and they made my day incredible. Next week I am heading off to Copenhagen with my closest friend for a day of shopping and a night of celebrating. I can't say my seventeenth year has been great but I am certain that with this new milestone, things will get better. Hope you are all doing wonderfully and I thought I'd share some snapshots from my day. Have a great week!

Marc Jacobs Perfume

Untitled #8

Perfumes. I am not a huge perfume addict, wish I was but I can be quite a picky penelope with scents. I normally buy fragrances from The Body Shop because I find them fresh and not too strong. However, I do have one weakness when it comes to the wonderful world of perfume and that is dear Marc Jacobs. I have been a bearer of Marc Jacobs Lola for about two years and if I feel like indulging in a scent, it is definitely Lola. I first spotted Lola when it had just come out in New York, it was a limited edition and I found the bottle the sweetest thing I'd ever laid my eyes on. Also the most expensive thing I'd ever laid my eyes on. Turns out it was so popular, it became a full-time edition and I received it for my birthday. It was definitely worth the price, even though it had quite a strong smell, it was very sweet and fresh. Two qualities I look for in a perfume. So after raving about how great Lola was and dreading the thought of when the last drop was sprayed, I received the newer edition Oh Lola! I quickly took a liking to Oh Lola! because there was a strong smell of vanilla, which is an absolute favorite scent of mine. The reason I'm rabbling on about fragrances, is because I have been considering buying either his new one Dot or perhaps an old favorite for some, Daisy.

I am pretty convinced Daisy and Dot won't disappoint but if any of you lovelies have one, which would you recommend? Also if any of you are considering joining the Marc Jacobs perfume gang, the price may have you cringing but the scent will be worth it.

Welcome Autumn!

So autumn was a bit of a pain today. I'm saying this whilst sitting on my bed shivering because of being entirely drenched in rain. But I shouldn't complain, it is one of the things I love about it, the surprise storms that come out of nowhere when getting off the bus and having to run home. After getting warm, I'll be making me some scrumptious cinnamon tea (have you tried it? it is truly scrumptious) and will prepare myself for a long night of hearing rain tap on my window frame. There is no lovelier sound. I know this post may have had no real message but I just wanted to share with you once again, that autumn is here. And of course to tell you: do bring an umbrella or raincoat when stepping outside, it will save you from sitting in front of the computer, writing your next blog post with the sound of your teeth chattering.

Hugs all around
